I just bought some solar lights, like this http://www.solar-lighting.net/images/colonial-solar-path-lights.jpg and i’m just wondering if most people just leave them out year round or if I should bring them inside during the winter months when it snows.

I have a cheap four color diode from a rechargeable solar outdoor light that I want to install inside my motorhome and run it off my 12v battery bank but I need to know how to reduce the power so that it will not burn out the diode.
It works fine without the solar cell except that it wears out the 1.5 AA batteries that it uses.
I am sure that it would take forever to run down the six 6v golf cart batteries that I use for power in my RV, especially since they get recharged every time I run the RV.
Any answers out there?

should i choose for science fair project?? im in 9th grade..and an HONOR student..sooo ALOT is expected..help me choose..we are supposed to have three ideas..but only ONE main..the two are alternates..proposals are due on monday..soo i need help ASAP!! these are my ideas:

make my own solar powered oven
examine pigments of different violets (or any other flowers)
and lastly, examine the specimen of ants and bugs (by using different solvents)

pick one..and give me MORE ideas to which one u choose..im open for suggestions!! thanks..

the solar cell is multi band solar cell, but the size is not known, total area required for the solar panel is known and the electricity consumption per day is also known but i want to know the size of a solar cell required and how much solar cells does panel can have and how to calculate the number of panels required? also the efficiency of the solar cell is 50%

I was watching my friends video of her getting engaged. I noticed the guy didn’t slip the ring on her finger. He just kind of hands her the closed box. She opens it, takes the ring out and looks at it for a minute then puts it on. Also, he was wearing jeans/t-shirt and it was done in front of a crowd. It wasn’t very romantic or thoughtful at all.

Do girls notice things like that? Would you be upset if your fiance messed up his proposal?
