my dell pc when plug into the inverter shows overload in inverter.how to flow more current?
inverter flows 100v curent.pc battery is damaged.what should i have to add in inverter so that i can use laptop without over load in inverter.it can light 4 cfl bulb of 5watt.(inverter:set of battery,charger and inverter).
Voltage is not current. Voltage will say V current will be measured in AMPS (A)
Check the requirements for your laptop adapter. Most will specifiy both the VOLTAGE needed as well as the current and most will pull more than 20watts. Your four cfl bulbs of 5 watts is only 20 watts.
Wattage = (Voltage x Current)
Inverters for laptops usually need to be able to supply the current needed for the device plus a little room for “overhead” If the adapter says 110-220V at 1.5 amps then you need an inverter to supply at least 1.5 amps of current or 165 watt (110*1.5= 165 watts) inverter get 200watts and your fine. If your inverter is too small then the overload will occur
